Our Noe Group team is already making the first visit at the Dubai 2020 Expo to learn more about its infrastructure and to personally know how its development is taking place. The size of this project and the number of people hired is larger than ever. The technology used, the latest in the market. In fact, Ahmed al Khatib, an exhibition designer, explains that in order to have more precision during the construction phase, they have built a digital twin city to identify any design errors before issuing plans and, thus, save money and weather.

The recruitment of staff for the Dubai 2020 Expo increases

Less than six months after its start, Expo 2020 Dubai has already begun the process of hiring the different professionals who will be part of this great event. On this occasion, they have decided to bet on different roles created specifically for the occasion, since customer priorities have been changing in recent times: Cosmopole, for example, has hired an independent marketing and communication director who speaks English, Arabic and French fluently. This is an event that will generate a lot of jobs: it is estimated that 35,000 people work daily in the exhibition. Currently, there are already more than 1,000 people hired directly by Expo 2020 and 41,000 working in the construction phase.

On the other hand, one of the great novelties is the participation of the culinary team of Maggy Naggel, Luxembourg commissioner general, which will have both professionals and students from the Ecole d’Hotellerie et de Tourisme du Luxembourg to offer a catering created especially for the occasion that surely will not leave anyone indifferent.

Laying Promperú’s first stone for Expo 2020

Peru has already started the construction of its pavilion at the Dubai 2020 Universal Expo through a ceremony to the Pachamama as a token of gratitude to Mother Earth. Under the slogan “Timeless”, Always Peru’, a reference to the bridge Q’eswachaka, this exhibition will show the biodiversity of Peruvian culture linked to different sectors such as fishing, agro-industry, handicrafts, gastronomy or to promote alpaca thread and the textile sector, among others. It is also a great opportunity to show its roots and the history that defines them, thus increasing tourism and being in contact with different countries in order to open up new horizons.

Conceptually conceived by the studio Habitare Architecture and Engineering with the collaboration of Studio 17, without any doubt this exhibition will mark a before and an after for Peru, as around 15 million visitors are expected to pass through Expo Dubai during the six months of the exhibition.
